Gamble Garden

Christmas 2020

We are thankful to Gamble Garden for allowing PACS to display the first public Light-Up project at the beautiful garden.

This experience allowed us to fine-tune our work for subsequent public displays.

Mountain View performing Arts Center

Thanksgiving 2020

Originally slated to be displayed at the Mountain View Performing Arts Center during Thanksgiving 2020, it had to be cancelled due to the elevated purple level alert for COVID-19 in Santa Clara County.

Undeterred, a small group of volunteers came together to put together the Light-Up display in a backyard while observing safety protocols to realize the goals of Light-Up.

The Culture Class staff would like to thank all the volunteers who helped realize the project in full display despite the COVID-19 challenges we have faced.

We are looking forward to the possibility of displaying Light-Up at alternative venues when it is possible. We have hope that we will be able to do this soon. Until then, Light-Up!
